Today marks another Milestone in the anal of DDMC Model Management (Subsidiary of Solfar Links Ventures) National Association of Nigeria Students NANS (Southwest) Zone D, has we resolved to organized the Biggest Campus Beauty Pageant in Sub Sahara Africa.
Haven understand the role of woman in nation building whereby they need to be engaged positively, with their Natural endowment, talents, knowledge and abilities to turn things around for effective sustainability and growth of the society at large. Hence the establishment of “MISS CAMPUS SOUTHWEST NIGERIA 2016; The theme of the programme is “BEAUTY WITH BRAIN”. This theme clearly spells out the ultimate goal of the pageant. The goal is not to pick the most beautiful girl as a winner, but to use her beauty to further meaningful courses.
The winner will be committed mostly on life changing projects by organizing a sensitization program for fellow students and youth on issues that are detrimental to the society such as, Prostitution, HIV/AIDS, Drug Abuse, Cultism, Gender Equality, Health Nutrition, Environmental Conservation and Poverty Eradication. She will use her good office to raise funds for charitable organization in order to help the less privileged members in the society. Equally assume the role of a Brand & Goodwill Ambassador to various organizations.
OUR OBJECTIVES
INFOTAINMENT:- MCSWN aims at entertaining people at the same time using the opportunity to inform the audience about the different social issues such as illicit drugs, prostitution, cultism among others, this is done through question posed to the contestants during the grand finale event.
INSPIRES OTHERS:- MCSWN aspires to select ladies or girls who are not only Beautiful but educationally sound, its intend to create role models who inspire others to place value on education.
PROMOTION OF TALENT – MCSWN will help the contestants to discover and promote their talent, a reasonable number of contestants will choose to be in fashion and other lucrative business after the event.
EMPLOYMENT – MCSWN will help create employment to number of girls who will participate in the contest even while they are still in school. The pageant has established itself as an avenue or forum where potential employers identify the girls they intend to employ especially in public relations and advertisement of their brands.
Meanwhile Institutions and Campuses involve across the South West Geo-Political Zone of Nigeria will be promoted as the grand finale event will be covered by internationally recognized media. Contestants from each of the participating campus will be interviewed by different media on ground.
OUR JUDGES
Nothing less than seven (7) people will form the panel of judges of MCSWN Grand Finale, the people will be celebrities and individuals of high integrity who occupy respectable positions in the society and command respect from the public. The judges will be selected few days to the contest from the following field; Fashion, Dancing, Arts, Educational Sector, Government and Corporate work. They will assess and interview the contestants in the area of their intelligence, beauty and behavior.

MISS CAMPUS SOUTHWEST NIGERIA 2016
The MCSWN beauty pageant is open to Nigerian female students in any tertiary institutions in South West geo-political zone of Nigeria, between the ages of 17-28. The event will include activities such as Camping, Photo shoot, Online streaming, Lectures, Choreography, Catwalk, Talent showcase and pageantry. The contestants will be selected through auditions that will commence in May 2016, by credible judges and MCSWN crew, contestants will go through screening processes before Acceptance. Haven visited all other states in South West pre-awareness and consultation to appropriate quarters, it was resolved that the Official Launch & Unveiling should take place in Ogun state while the Maiden Edition of Miss Campus Southwest Nigeria 2016 Grand finale should be slated for JULY 2016 in the City of Lagos. They can as well follow the simple guidelines in the series of our publicity materials MCSWN Grand Finale will be grace by His Imperial Majesty Oba. Adeyeye Enitan AROLE ODUA, the Ooni of Ife, all the six (6) Southwest Governors, Paramount Rulers, Distinguished personality within and outside Nigeria, School VC’s, Rector’s, and Provost’s, Heads of Corporate organizations, Special appearances of Artistes and celebrities will be on ground and all students and youths of our dear nation.
